Who we are and what we do.
Emergent Clarity is a research and consulting firm that provides computational modeling and analysis to help our clients grapple with complex, seemingly intractable, problems. Our staff is composed of researchers, software engineers and business professionals that work as a team to solve difficult problems for the business, government and academic community.
Emergent Clarity specializes in helping our clients:
- integrate heterogeneous data sets into one unified framework and enable real-time updating as additional data is available;
- forecast the set of outcomes of a given scenario, identifying the range of alternative futures and their relative likelihoods;
- develop "what-if" scenarios, analyzing the impact of systematic and targeted changes to a given system;
- analyze existing systems for inefficiencies, potential failure points, and sensitivity to stochastic shocks;
- generate intuitive visualizations through 3D graphics and GIS, to help our clients understand the spatio-temporal development of the system; and
- use the results to generate practical recommendations for the path ahead.
